I handle your monthly or quarterly bookkeeping personally, reconciling your accounts and preparing VAT returns ready for submission under Making Tax Digital. No handoffs, no junior staff reviewing your figures. I do it and I check it.

After the call I look at what software you are using, what is filed, what is outstanding and where the gaps are. I will tell you plainly what needs doing and in what order.

We agree a fixed fee and scope

I put a fixed monthly fee in front of you that covers everything we have discussed. No hidden extras, no hour-rate billing. You know the cost before anything starts.

I take it from here

Once you are set up I handle your bookkeeping, VAT, accounts and tax returns on an ongoing basis. You get same-day responses and a direct line to me year-round, not just at filing time.

Common questions

No. Everything runs in the cloud through your browser. I am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and FreeAgent Partner, so I can set up your account and connect your bank directly. If you already use Xero or Sage, I am proficient in those too and can work with what you have.
It is not unusual and it is not a problem. Most clients come to me with a backlog of some kind, whether that is unfiled receipts, mixed personal and business spending or months of unreconciled transactions. I have seen it before and I know how to sort it without making you feel judged for it.
Yes. Making Tax Digital for Income Tax applies from April 2026 for sole traders and landlords with income over 50,000 pounds, and I am set up to handle quarterly digital updates and MTD-compliant submissions for all affected clients. If you are not sure whether it applies to you, ask me on the call.
Every client gets a fixed monthly fee agreed before we start, based on the scope of work involved. I do not publish a standard price list because every business is different, but fees are transparent and straightforward. There are no surprise charges for questions or calls.
